John Babb spent over a decade of his policing career coaching senior police personnel. Skilfully combining his training in coaching, counselling and NLP. His one-to-one coaching relationships are fundamentally safe spaces that promote sharing, strategic thinking, challenge, exploration and self-expression without judgement. 

This not only provides the opportunity to examine thoughts, feelings and ideas on a much deeper level. It also facilitates an honest exchange of perspective/s, capable of identifying themes, navigating specific issues, and pinpointing pathways capable of advancing personal and professional development. 

Conflict Coaching & Conflict Management Workshops

Conflict is an inevitable and often unwelcome part of personal and professional life. Having the requisite tools to effectively navigate conflict changes people. They become more confident, capable, self-aware and open to having the, at times, necessary difficult conversations with others. 

Our approach to conflict management is based on thirty years of 'real world' policing experience in a variety of overt and convert environments, at times, devoid of any personal protective equipment. We identify what conflict is, how it can be harnessed or management in different settings to increase the likelihood of influencing positive outcomes.  

Whether undertaking bespoke one-to-one conflict coaching or commissioning a conflict management workshop. We recommend that, in order to embed the learning of new skills and abilities. Clients and delegates undertake follow-up sessions (timescale to be agreed), during which John and or his colleagues can evaluate the efficacy of your practice through observation, reflection and action learning sets. Feedback is tailored to each individual, in order to further enhance their confidence and effectiveness in this area. 

Leadership Training & Leadership Coaching

The policing eco-system is by its very nature, an ever changing multilayered, fast paced environment. Being an effective leader against the backdrop of significant organisational risk, and the risk/s posed to the health and safety of your personnel demands highly effective leadership. 

Our founder and principal leadership coach and trainer, John Babb has a wealth of experience leading specialist teams in high-risk policing operations. Specialist teams established to protect public safety, whilst routinely placing themselves in harm's way. John consistently demonstrated his ability to successfully navigate tangible risks to the public, and his colleagues. In addition to mitigating threat/s to the organisation's reputation. Should he, or members of his team fail to meet the standards and outcomes expected. 

Based in part on his experience in leadership roles, and his work as a leadership trainer in the Greater Manchester Police. John wrote a leadership book, which he uses to underpin and reinforce much of his work as a leadership coach and leadership trainer. 

His extensive background, skills and experience, enable him to provide a standard of leadership coaching and training that is second to none.
